Motorsports is where I began with action photography. In 2017, I was travelling to France and would be attending the F1 Monaco Grand Prix as a spectator.

I nnew I would want to have decent pictures; so for the first time I fulfilled a long-time desire and bought a decent Nikon DSLR camera and a zoom tele-photo lens.

Quickly realizing that I needed some experience with this new great to take photos of race cars. I travelled to Calabogie Motorsports Park an hour’s drive from home. I met the people from the ChumpCar League, (later becoming Lucky Dog Canada Racing) and fell in love.

I kept going back time and again, and I have never looked back. Sports and action photography has become a way of life.

I did switch to Sony and mirrorless cameras a while back. This has been a positive development in my career as a top level photographer.

In addition to car and motorcycle racing, I have considerable experience with automotive glamour photography. I’ve had clients with high end cars being sold on Bring-a-Trailer.com and portray sessions with my own 1993 red NA Miata.
